Aluminum Foil Typewriter

The Line Writer has been making collage art from found objects since early childhood. This is his latest creation, the chassis of which is built around a metal crayon box, the rest built up from aluminum foil, which his Grandma was more than happy to donate from the kitchen drawer supply. While it doesn't actually type, you'll be happy to know that the platen is removable, and it sports details like a black ribbon and type bars.

  1. Nice! It is great to see a kid enjoying a typewriter. I'll be following from here on out.

  2. Very cool, as usual. A talented kid, the Line Writer.
